Katie Holmes has denied that she is "secretly
dating" Jake Gyllenhaal.
The pair were recently the subject of tabloid speculation after
American media sources alleged that they were spending time near
Jake's West Village apartment, after being set up by Katie's
Dawson's Creek co-star Joshua Jackson.
Katie's rep has reacted to the comment, saying: "[It's] not at
all true [that Holmes and Gyllenhaal] are secretly dating."
At around the same time, Katie's ex-husband Tom Cruise also
downplayed the rumours that he was dating Cynthia Jorge.
Tom and Katie reached a divorce settlement in August following
the end of their five-year marriage.
