By far one of our favorite looks from this season's NYFW were Prabal Gurung's drippy tips! We love that he picked a deep red for a horror-movie type feel. Spring doesn't always have to be about flowers and sunshine, right?!
When it comes to nail art, it doesn't ALWAYS have to be crazy to be cool! Mara Hoffman did a soft blue dip-dyed set, which matched her Polynesian prints perfectly. Adorable!
Tracy Reese went bold and bright with solid orange and blue tips accented with triangle half moons in a slightly similar shade. Weeee could probably wear these nails every day.
Nicole Miller had tons of badass floral and galaxy mirror print ensembles on her spring 2013 runway, but the BEST part was she also had nails to match! Here she put mini galaxy designs inside diamonds on a black base. Whew, the detail.
We loved Rachel Antonoff's picnic in the park presentation, but when we took a closer look at the nails, we fell in love with those too! She did clear French tips with a white base and had her friends and family's names handwritten on each nail. Talk about dedication!
Kate Spade brought her typically-cute nail game to the masses by matching a navy blue and white gingham design with the rest of her outfit. If this doesn't scream spring to you, we don't know WHAT will.
At Veda, they decided to do a simple yet effective nail design that totally gets to the point. They layered muted tones, like olive green and burgundy, with a single stripe of black down the center—but not all the way! We totally want to DIY this look RIGHT when we get home.
The nail look for Ruffian's show was a nude base with cut-out gold applique designs attached to only the last two nails. This partial-accent mani is something even WE'VE never thought of before, but it's equally delicate as it is badass.
The Blonds certainly glam it up for their runway ensembles, so of course they needed top-notch nails to match! While the models all wore different nail designs, we personally liked this new approach to the traditional caviar manicure. The red pearls are placed delicately down the center of the nail for an avant-garde take on the trend.
For Joy Cioci's extremely dainty spring 2013 collection, she needed tips that would reflect a similar style, so she went with a partial caviar manicure with translucent glitter tips. So angelic!
