5 EASY DIY HAIR CARE TIPS

Hair-care products are often full of empty promises- ever since we were kids and fooled by those ‘No more tears’ shampoos, everyone is always buying into the various claims listed on the bottles, hopeful to eliminate dandruff, frizz and add shine and silkiness. Next time you are in a hair-care aisle remember that cosmetic companies have free reign to write anything they want on the bottle and try some of these natural DIY tips instead:

THE LONGER THE BETTER?

IS IT TRUE THAT IF YOU USE HAIR CONDITIONER LONGER THAN THE RECOMMENDED TIME IT WOULD WORK BETTER FOR YOU?

It really depends on what kind of conditioner you are using. Generally, it would be better to follow the instrustions as it has been determined to work best with the formulation.

As for quick rinse conditioners, you may want to spend a bit more time applying conditioner to where your hair needs it most, usually from midway to the tips of your hair to ensure every strand is coated with it.

Once you've distributed the conditioner evenly, it should be fine to rinse it out straight after.

Conclusion
Leaving it in any longer would not make any difference!

5 AMAZING DIY HAIR CARE

FLAT BEER

This one I picked up from Malaika Arora Khan. I remember in one of her interviews she mentioned that the leftover beer from her husband’s parties goes into her hair. I was a little skeptical about using it but I nevertheless gave it a try. The day I condition my hair with beer, my hair are happy, shiny and supple. Even on the days when I forget to oil my hair pre washing, I know there is something that is going to take care of  my hair. icon smile 5 Awesome DIY Hair Care Tips.

How to use it?
Shampoo and rinse your hair as usual. Pour the beer in your hair in small portions and work it through. Rinse off with lukewarm water.  The only tip would be to choose a beer that does not have a very strong odour.

Multaani Mitti (Fuller’s Earth/ Kaolin Clay)
This works great for people who have oily hair or scalp. Mulataani mitti has the properties of sucking off the extra oil or grease. So if you have normal or especially dry hair, just stay away from this. I use it only once or two during summer months when my scalp gets really crappy and oily. Also, it’s a pain to use it.It dries hard as a mask and then while washing, you would end up with mud every where in your bathroom. The process sucks!
