Kristen Stewart has opened up about the life
lessons she's learned since she found herself in the centre of a
cheating scandal last summer.
The Twilight star admitted to having a fling with her Snow White
And The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders - and confirmed that it
took place while she was dating her vampire co-star Robert Pattinson.
In a new interview, Stewart spoke about the measures she took to
guard her private life from the public. She also touched on the
difficulties she faces protecting herself from media intrusion and
opening up to others.
Talking to V magazine, she said: "I have realised that
you can close yourself off to life if you put walls up, but it's a
difficult thing.
"You can't see over people, can't see in and you also can't see out. So I have gotten quite comfortable with being unafraid. I keep saying the same thing, it's not about being fearless but really just embracing the fears and using them."

Stewart also spoke about playing the role of Marylou in On The
Road. Her character goes topless in the movie and has a
threesome.
She said that she admires Marylou's "tough core".
"When you are a teenager, a year can be crippling to manoeuver
through, you're just out there questioning things," she said.
"So to be completely okay with that and not think that there is anything wrong with you, that's something I've recently understood. I'm 22. Marylou started this whole thing when she was 15."
